Supporting Staff
Every member of the staff at GPCHS is dedicated to meeting the needs of our patients.
These individuals -- from our front-desk personnel to laboratory technicians -- are as committed to the comfort and care of our patients as our medical staff. They strive to provide whatever support is necessary, and are always looking for ways to enhance our level of care.
Front-Desk Personnel
New patients calling our office will be connected with our New Patient Coordinator. This individual will answer your questions, schedule your appointment and provide you with information about our practice.
Our front-desk receptionist is usually the patient's initial contact person, whether it's through a phone call or at the time of the office visit. The receptionist keeps appointment schedules for the medical staff and helps to schedule follow-up care for patients. In addition, the front-desk keeps the insurance files on every patient, so it is important the receptionist is kept current on any changes in personal or coverage information.
Billing Department:
Our billing department is staffed with knowledgeable representatives who are able to assist with any insurance concerns that may arise throughout the course of your care. These friendly and dedicated individuals are experienced in working with a variety of insurance plans and will gladly answer any insurance-related questions. You may contact our billing department directly at (215) 612-5260.
Lab/Medical Technicians:
GPCHS maintains a CLIA certified lab in our office. Our certified laboratory technicians handle each patient with care and are experienced in working with oncology patients. Lab results are processed quickly and are available for immediate review by your GPCHS physicians.
Medical Records Department:
Our medical records staff will obtain copies of your prior medical records and test results prior to your appointment with your permission. This allows for our oncologists to have the most up-to-date records available at the time of your initial visit.
Radiology films from facilities outside of Frankford Hospitals will need to be picked up by the patient personally.
Practice Administrator:
Our goal is to make your experience at GPCHS as comfortable and seamless as possible. All of our efforts are coordinated under the guidance of our practice administrator and physicians and we appreciate it when patients take the time to share their experience with our practice. Please direct any suggestions or comments to (215) 612-4837 or via email to administrator@pacancer.com
