Hospice Services
Hospice care is a way of helping terminally-ill patients live more comfortably at home during the last phase of their lives. Patients who are suffering from an illness for which palliative care (treatment without curing) is most appropriate and who wish to remain at home are eligible for this service. Hospice services available through coordination with GPCHS are ready to provide medical, emotional, and/or spiritual help through a team of caregivers that includes a medical director, nurses, therapists, home health aides, a chaplain, social workers, and volunteers.
