Multi-disciplinary Breast Cancer

Our medical oncologists participate as part of the team of consultants to Frankford Hospital's Multi-Disciplinary Breast Clinic. This innovative Clinic offers patients with breast cancer the opportunity to be evaluated by a breast surgeon, radiation oncologist, medical oncologist, reconstructive plastic surgeon, and care management all within a single afternoon visit. Prior to the initial visit, the patient’s medical records will be reviewed by the diagnostic pathology and radiology team. This group will collaborate and develop an individual treatment plan, specific to the patient’s condition. Following the visit, patients will have an opportunity to ask questions and get immediate treatment recommendations from the entire team.
